Sources For Funding:
The Israel Foundation Directory

Book Will Inspire Givers

This listing of foundations in Israel that provide money for non-profit organizations is no dry tome. It can be browsed through almost like reading a romance.

Read about the many organizations and their activities and the causes they donate to and you will jump from page to page. The accounts of the numerous needs in Israel and how these grants help them makes interesting reading indeed.

How so? You will have to read the book to find out. It will tell you much more about Israel than you thought you knew and open your eyes to new ways of helping others.

In his introduction, a book in itself, Prof. Jaffe tells us all about the work of foundations, how to set up a foundation in Israel, who staffs them, who they donate to and much more.

He makes the interesting point that Jews outside Israel believe that little philanthropic work is done within Israel. This is not true. Israelis contribute widely to charities even if you do not count their private help to neighbors and friends. However, Israel's needs are so great that its organizations could not keep going without funds from abroad.

A book that will open your heart and purse and will make you see fundraising in an entirely new light.
