Lisa Aiken received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University in Chicago. She was Chief Psychologist at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and taught at New York Medical College, St. John’s University and Long Island University. Dr. Aiken is listed in thirteen Who’s Who books, including Foremost Women of the Twentieth Century and Who’s Who in Professional Women. She is a speaker of international repute and has lectured in over 120 cities in North America, England, Australia, Israel, New Zealand, and South Africa. She is on the speaker’s bureau of Hadassah, Amit Women, Emunah Women, and Chabad-Lubavitch. Dr. Aiken is the author of To Be A Jewish Woman as well as five additional titles on marriage, prayer, birth, and bereavement. She lives with her husband and children in Israel.
